Three Wise Izzy’s

There is an ancient Japanese proverb of the “Three Wise Monkeys.” The monkeys were Mizaru, covering his eyes, who “sees no evil”, Kikazaru, covering his ears, who “hears no evil”, and Iwazaru, covering his mouth, who “speaks no evil”. Also there is supposedly a fourth monkey, Shizaru, who “does no evil”, depicted as crossing his arms. Here is my view modern day depiction..
